🧠 Shakhsiyat aur Andaz-e-Fikr
Jaun Elia sirf ek shair nahi thay balkay
ek bohot bare scholar aur philosopher thay. Unki shairy mein:
Baghaawat: Purane rivayaat se inkar.
Akela-pan: Insani tanhai ka gehra ehsas.
Nihilism: Zindagi ki be-maqsad-iyat aur gham.
Mukaalma: Wo aksar shairy mein apne aap se baat karte nazar aate hain.
📖 Pehla Majmua: “Shayad” – jis ne Urdu adab mein ek tufan barpa kar diya.
📜 Digar Kutub: Yaani, Gumaan, Lekin, aur Farnood.
🌍 Ilmi Kaam: Unho ne bohot si purani Arabi aur Farsi kitabon ka Urdu tarjuma bhi kiya.
💔 Mashhoor Ashaar
“Sharam, dehshat, jhijhak, pareshani Se kaam kyun nahi leti? Aap, ji, haan, magar, ye sab Ji nahi leti, kyun nahi leti?”
“Main bhi bohot ajeeb hoon, itna ajeeb hoon ke bas Khud ko tabaah kar liya aur malaal bhi nahi”
🏛️ Tareekhi Pas-e-Manzar Jaun ne partition ke waqt apna pyara shehar Amroha chora, jis ka dard unki shairy mein hamesha raha. Wo hamesha apne khoye hue “Amroha” ko yaad karte thay.
Fun aur Shairy: Jaun Elia apni munfarid aur "Ananiyat" se bharpur shairy ke liye mashoor hain. Unho ne Urdu shairy ko ek naya lehja diya jo talkh bhi tha aur gehri dard-mandi se bharpur bhi. Unka pehla majmua-e-kalam 'Shayad' unki maut se kuch saal pehle shaya hua.
“Sharam, dehshat, jhijhak, pareshani
Se kaam kyun nahi leti?
Aap, ji, haan, magar, ye sab
Ji, nahi leti, kyun nahi leti?”
Jaun Elia kisi se (shayed apni mehbooba se) pooch rahe hain ke tum mujh se itni be-takallufi aur azadi se kyun baat kar rahi ho? Tumhare lehjay mein wo sharam, darr (dehshat), ya hichkichahat (jhijhak) kyun nahi hai jo ek makhsoos tehzeeb ka hissa hoti hai?
Aam tor par shair chahte hain ke unka mehboob unse khul kar baat kare, lekin Jaun yahan ulta sawal kar rahe hain. Wo keh rahe hain ke tum ye tameez wale alfaz jese “Aap”, “Ji”, “Haan” kyun istemal nahi karti?
Be-zarari: Jaun ko lag raha hai ke samne wala shakhs unhein itni ehmiyat hi nahi de raha ke unse sharmaaye ya darye.
Modern Lehja: Is sher mein Jaun ne bol-chaal ke alfaz (Aap, ji, haan, magar) ko shairy mein itni khubsurti se dala hai ke ye bilkul natural lagta hai.
